Studying The Land Acquisition Process' With Urbanization Process

Urbanization refers to the history process of formation and development from towns to cities, which involves changes of the human life and the life style. It is the process that the countryside resident migrates to urban and shifts to citizens and cities continue to improve and develop .In recent years, With the rapid development of urbanization and the scale of land acquisition is enlarged, more and more farmers' land are expropriated by local government, most of the farmers will lose the land. The problem of land acquisition has become the focus of social conflicts and has the impact of an important factor in social stability. Land acquisition is the main means which the governments use to meet the rapid city growth. Under the theme of building a harmonious society and scientific development concept, our governments have realized the flaws of the current system of land acquisition. The land acquisition system is not complete; the conflict between peasants and governments is getting obvious and tense. The landless farmer's life is not able to obtain the safeguard. In the process of urbanization, the protection of the interests of landless farmers is demands to implement the scientific development concept, the objective of building a harmonious society. Therefore, we must adhere to People-oriented, building a transparent process of land acquisition to guarantee the interests of peasants and governments, and developers.The main objectives of the thesis are: 1) To improve the current land acquisition by involving peasants' participation, 2) To develop a transparent land acquisition process with the involvement of peasants' wishes. The main contents of the research are to analyze the current process and system of land acquisition through fieldwork, and find out the problem and flaws of the current situation of land acquisition. The method of the research is through studying the literature relevant to land acquisition and urbanization, related to the case study. The conclusion of the thesis is to get the improved the land acquisition process and improve the farmers' participation, be people-oriented really.
