Recent years, the economic benefit of Dalian Steel has descend sharply due to the disadvantages of state-owed system and it also failing to keep up with the changing market, its outdated technics and the equipment, the severe pollution, the small product scale and the weak competitive abilities, all of theses make the situation worse and the transformation indispensable.At the same time, according to the overall programming of Dalian city, Dalian Steel should move out of the downtown. Thus the leaders of Dalian Steel consider this is an opportunity to enhance the techinics level, to introduce the high-tech into the production and change the old steel corporation into a modern one.The products analysis aspects are concentrating on the products, techncs and facilities. Via the research, analysis, comparison of the products and SWOT and special ability analysis and according to the analysis result the main adjusting point is to wash out the laggard technics and facilities and to develop the deficient throughput in domestic market. In the excellent model steel, the transformation should emphasize on the development of the stainless steel, axletree steel, configurable steel which are used in motor production and mold steel, etc.Through the study the moving and transformation of Dalian Steel, it becomes obvious that the company should make out the appropriate strategies to face the increasingly fierce competition of the market and bring forward the reasonable advice to the development of the corporation. This is also helpful to adjust the configuration and technicis of the products.
