Chinese health food industry is an emerging industry, it had has a rapid development in recent years. Because of the economic development, fast pace of work and life, as well as the enrichment and development of nightlife, It is required that it must have a different health food products to adapt to the needs of the people of these activities, In addition, the continuous improvement of living standards, the dietary pattern is in a transition from subsistence level to the well-off type of, People are no longer satisfied with three meals a day, But to desire to eat the food which have the health care role and wholesome functional food, This demand has promoted the rapid development of health food products. It is no doubt that the health food market is long-term upward trend of development, however, based on the twenty years of development history of the early phase of Chinese health food industry, the market has always marched ahead on the standardization but undulator and downs road, with the policy of regulatory system improving and the enhanced rational consumer, the health food enterprises must improve their market competitiveness and the better quality products to satisfy all these requires. New Health food product development risks extremely increased on the background of the Register and approval policy requirements.In this thesis, we will study and explore the feasibility of the health food R & D project risk management methods based on the health food development projects as the research object by Laolaishou biological Technology Company. It will have a strategic importance for the health food products enterprises on a long-term development. And also it will have an important application value for Laolaishou biological Company and other enterprises.In this paper, in accordance with the policy of the new health food products register characteristics and risk management theory, We adopt the suitable strategies on the development projects of the health food risk, use the brainstorming for risk identification, and the subjective score for risk evaluation by experts and technical backbone, to evaluate the overall risk of the project, According to the Pareto's "80/20" principle and the results of risk assessment to determine the risk coping strategies, concentrate on the few but the most threatening risks, through scientific management, both to mitigate or avoid other secondary risk to happen. To implement the overall R & D ideas: Careful project approval, carry out quickly; to use a key chain method to manage the progress of the project management and pre-focused monitoring; to reduce the probability of mistakes by adopting the Risks Education Law. In this way, we can significantly reduce the overall risk level.This article is divided into six chapters, introduced the basic concepts of project risk and theory, summed up the domestic health food industry history, based on the provisions of the registration policy of health food products, we put forward a suitable methods on new health food product development risk management, described a detailed specific applications of risk management measures combining the health food development projects by Laolaishou Biological Technology company.
