Technical progress, social transformation and management innovation bring new changes with professional managers of enterprises in new era during the past few decades. All of them broke the previous role expectations of professional managers, and replaced them with great pressures and challenges. In response to the stress and challenges, professional managers get many psychological problems, but "job burnout" is one of the typical problems.The professional managers' job burnout and its expressions have bad effects on quality of professional managers in enterprises. They not only hinder the growth of the enterprises and employees but also influence the development of professional managers' mental and physical health. Job burnout has becomed a hot topic in many disciplines of many countries, but still there are many problems to be studied. The majority of studies on burnout focused on documenting its existence within certain occupation groups such as doctors, teachers and other human-assistance professions. And no studies research on professional managers. In order to understand the general situation of the professional managers and the relationship between job burnout and some other variables such as sex, age, work experience and perceived organizational support, the study takes the questionnaire to research. At last, according to these research results, the author puts forward some suggestions to reduce job burnout in professional managers.This article first summarizes the background, puts forward the significance and target of this research, and introduces main approaches adopted. Then on the basis of related theories of job burnout and perceived organizational support, the paper designs Chinese professional managers' Job burnout questionnaires and perceived organizational support questionnaires. After exploratory factor analysis, reliability and validity assessment and statistical of the survey paper on professional managers of enterprise. On this basis, the paper draws some conclusions and provides suggestions of how to release the professional managers' job burnout from three angels. That is social, organization and individual. At last, the paper summarizes the main conclusions of the study, imperfect places, as well as provides research direction for the follow-up study.The following is the major conclusions of this paper: First, professional managers represent serious job burnout. The level of the emotional exhaustion of the professional managers is serious, disintegrated personality and the reducing sense of success is ordinary. Second, variables, such as gender, marital status, age, education, age of working, assert different influences on the level and dimensions of professional managers' job burnout. Third, the relationship between perceived organizational support and job burnout is negatively related.The innovation of this paper mainly lies in the following several aspects. First, this study expands the scope of job burnout, explored the job burnout situation of the professional managers and compiles Chinese professional managers' job burnout questionnaires. Second, the job burnout structure is composed of three elements and the perceived organizational support has only one dimension. Third, with systemic researching method, this article puts on the methods to solve professional managers' job burnout from social, organization and individual's angels. It also provides effective consults for the releasing professional managers'job burnout.
