Research On China's Highway Passenger Transportation Management

In recent years, with development of China's national economy and traffic infrastructure, the highway passenger transportation has got rapid development. It can be predicted that there is still a great potential for the highway passenger transportation as the dominant mode of transportation, with the continuing growth of China's economy and the fast process of urbanization. In the current situation, despite achievements of the highway passenger transportation, there appear more and more problems, such as industry competition, internal conflicts, management system problem, which had proposed new research subjects for the development of highway passenger transportation .On the base of the essential characteristics of highway passenger transportation system, this thesis will not only analyze china's current situation, the confronting problems and the trend of highway passenger transportation, but also summarize overseas highway passenger transportation's development experience. Absorbing knowledge of public economics, controlling economics, transportation economics, as well as other relevant theories, the thesis will discuss the government's management of the highway passenger transportation through different views including highway passenger transportation management, transportation industry structural adjustment, price mechanism improving, in order to make social and economic efficiency and promote rapid development of the highway passenger transportation.
