Research On YiYang Rural Youth' Skill-Training

The first 20 years of this century is an important period when China is building a well-off society but due to our long-standing imbalance between urban and rural economic and social development, agriculture, rural areas and farmers has become the fundamental problems hindering China's economic development and social progress. The core of "three rural issues" is the low quality of the rural labor force, so the strengthening of skills training among rural youths is the key to improving the quality of the rural labor force.Through literature analysis, questionnaire survey and visits the author has made an investigation among the rural youths in Yiyang city on their ideological quality, education level, employment and innovation situation and choice of occupation. He summarizes the current issues existing in the rural youth of our city and also gives an detailed analysis of the current skill-training in the rural youth. In the end he sums up the demands of rural youth in aspects of training content, methods and teachers.This thesis reflects the following issues of the rural youth's skill-training in Yiyang:1. Conservative ideas and the lack of training enthusiasm .2. Multiple lead-departments making it hard to form a concerted force . 3. Weakness of economic base and limitation in financial input. 4. Theory divorced from practice. 5.Methods of training to be improved.The author puts forward the countermeasures to improve the rural youth's skill-training in Yiyang city in regard of transforming ideas , improving training mechanism, innovating training content, adopting flexible training methods and so on.
