Changes Of Ujimqin Mongolian Costumes' Structure And Craft Art In Recent Hundred Years

Mongolian costumes is an significant part of Mongolian culture to reflect different historical periods of Mongolian people.For many years,it has been loved by people with its unique style and Vitality.As one of the Mongolian tribes, ujimqin people have their own unique costumes in different kind, style, color, and producing process.Besides,the costumes of left and right two banners is still different in color and decorations. Ujimqin long Gowns are distinguished one among different regions costumes with its loose style and colorful flangering decoration.With this background, this paper is trying to stuty ujimqin traditional robes'structure and art in different historical period. In the past centuries, ujimqin Mongolian costumes has experienced declining semi-colonial semi-feudal society,recent turbulent times,peace time after the liberation ,Cultural Revolution period, the reform and opening-up period, and modern time. Different turbulent historical period had great impact on the nation's life environment and clothing politically, economically and culturally, one of the biggest changes can be reflected in four aspects: the structure, art, materials and decoration. this paper, through focusing on comparative study of changes in structure and art, will analyze the changing process of ujimqin Mongolian robes from new perspective and new technical level. Applying certain reformation and innovation on Mongolian traditional costumes is not only a kind of cultural research and application, but also can carry forward the national culture, protect the cultural heritage effectively.Moreover, it can also provide material for costumes design system and provide a direct way to the transmission of traditional culture. By applying modern design concepts and creative methods in second time making,we can make Mongolian costumes more acceptable and applyable to modern people and also can spread Mongolian culture. At present, there is few article published at home and abroad regarding ujimqin gowns'structure and craft art,and no one even in recent hundred years. Mongolian costumes study carries on from two aspects: first one is to study Mongolian folk customs from the perspective of national customs, the other one is to study Mongolian costumes with the help of limited information and some books with illustrating pictures. Therefore, the systematic research on ujimqin robes still has not been carried on.
