Research Of Fisher-women’s Role Transition In Changing Fishing Village Among Recent 20 Years

With The eighteenth national congress of the communist party of China rose the idea of"construction of marine economic powerful nation" to a strategic height,in recent years,maritime issues have attracted increasingly attention of domestic experts in many fields,corresponding to"three rural issues",elated research of the "three fishery issues" has become more and more.In sociological point of view,this article studied a special group-fishing women in a fishing village.Discussed the role changes of fishing women caused by marine village changes in nearly 20 years,trying to show the obviously role changes of fishing women role after the fishing industrial transfer and domestic investment failure.The fishing industrial transfer in Dongmei village began in the year of 2002,a major adjustment of industrial structure of the fishing village made fishing families changed to a variety mode of production from a single fishing industry.In this change,the role of women in the fishing village changed accordingly.Changing roles of women mainly showed as follows:1)women got new professional roles;2)women’s influence of domestic decision-making has increased;3)their self-awareness and community status has been enhanced.By fieldwork and analysis,I summarizes the main reasons which caused the changing role of fishing in village are Industry transformation,population mobility and inner change from individual.This article is divided into five parts,the first part brings research questions and introduces the proposed research methods,as well as the definition of basic concepts used in the article;the second part of the article reviews former researches and studies in related fields of study from domestic and abroad;The third part is the body of the article,I divided the period of role changing into three stages by the job transformation in Dongmei village.By describing different women roles before,in and after the transformation,showing the changes in women’s roles in the process;On the basis of part three,part four analyzes the factors change the role of women from both inside and outside;and summarize the research and come up with some further thought in the end.This article tries to analyze the role changing issues of fishing women in the changing process of fishing village by using the role theory.On the one hand,role changes of fishing women is not only affected by fishing family and environment of village,but also resulted from the enhancement of self-consciousness of women.On the other hand,the changing role of fishing women in the village had a significant impact to fishing family and women themselves in turn,and accelerate the progress of modernization of fishing family as well as the promotion of social status and role consciousness,and made important contribution to the tertiary industry of the village in the mean time.Today as the three fishery issues and female issues drawing more and more attention,exploring the process of women’s roles change has important theoretical and practical significance.
