The economic globalization is continuing to develop in depth at the end of the 20th century 80's early 90's.Factors of production have moved freely more and more in the world. As a special kind of commodity, the free movement of labor has become the norm between different countries and regions. The input and output services have formed the cross-border flows of labor. As long as the two countries(or regions) had the existence of complementary in labor force and labor costs, there is the demand for cross-border flows of labor and power. At the same time, the global flows of labor have far reaching consequences beyond the society and economy. It is particularly significant for China whose labor force has been relatively well-off.Transnational flow of labor force not only can find employment opportunities for China's huge population, alleviate the growing problem of domestic employment pressure, but also can increase exports and promote China more deeply into the global production system. In this paper,I choose a new perspective to study China's cross-border flows by combining labor economics, international economics,International Trade, Econometrics and other related theories.First of all,I summarized the theory on the modern labor economics and international economics about cross-border movement of labor, and got the the impact of this phenomenon from a theoretical point of view, and then combined with China's realities,I summarized the status of cross-border movement of labor.Based on the conclusion of previous studies,I used the panel data econometric model to research empirically about the impact of cross-border flows of China's labor force, identified the inherent impact of China's cross-border movement of labor, predicted the future trends of cross-border flows of China's labor force. Finally, I have drew the conclusions and recommendations.
