Study On The Influence Factors And Development Potential Of Biogas Promotion In Rural Areas Of Northern Shanxi Province

Based on the theories of social action and recycling economy, this paper takes three counties in northern Shanxi Province as the research object, biogas promotion as the research content, and depicts the situation of promoting biogas in northern Shanxi province by collecting data through questionnaires and interview. Then, from three aspects of farmers'economic status, government's support, and natural environment, this paper investigates the constraints, influence factors and development potential in promoting biogas in northern Shanxi province.The results show that slow biogas promotion in this area is not caused by farmers'own economy and government investment. Biogas promotion is a practical technology in rural country. But in practical application it doesn't bring significant income to the peasant, which directly affects farmers'enthusiasm in biogas promotion.Through investigation and analysis, the reasons of slow biogas promotion mainly lie in the following aspects: first, it is very difficult to promote, so it requires the government to cultivate awareness and acceptance of the farmers. Second, the number of the biogas promotion is few, so it is necessary to increase government investment and other private financing. Third, the coverage of biogas promotion is small and it is still limited to pilot counties, pilot villages, and pilot households. Only to break this limit can biogas be promoted roundly. Fourth, the quality of the biogas promotion is low mainly because technology is not comprehensive. So increasing scientific and technological content in biogas technology is the correct choice. Fifth, efficiency of biogas promotion is poor. Output efficiency of the biogas is associated with technical support, the degree of farmers grasping technique and the biogas extension measures. Only to change the current simple extensive management can it be promoted in the gas efficiency and the peasant's income.This study is not only the extension of the issue of agriculture, rural areas and farmers, but also the discussion of the rural economy and the use of renewable energy. Northern rural areas of Shanxi are backward areas in economy and cold area in China, where the biogas promotion has been slow. The focus of this paper not only describes the status quo through the phenomenon, but also analyzes and explores the influence factors in essence. The aim is to offer the reference for the decision-making of the government and other organizations in biogas promotion.
