Since the 90's in 20 century, competition is becoming increasingly intensive. Vertical integration is gradually replaced by horizontal integration, and the competition among enterprises has shifted among the supply chains. The competitiveness of the supply chain is decided by core enterprise in supply chain. As the long-time partners of the core enterprise in supply chain, strategic suppliers not only provides higher-value products, but also have great impact on products and process of core enterprise; at the same time, the product design of strategic suppliers which are full of high personalized and are in low number, can lead high conversion cost of core enterprise. Therefore, how to scientifically selecting strategic supplier has already become the important research content of supply chain management. In view of existing methods for the selection of scientific suppliers have a lot of defects in evaluation of competitiveness and risk, this paper researched the choice of steps and evaluation system for strategic suppliers.This paper analyzed the relationship between supply chain partners, and introduced the definition of strategic suppliers on the basis of the existing supplier classification and definition of strategic suppliers. At the same time, the way to select strategic suppliers inexpensively and quickly can avoid the possible damage to the core enterprise, so this paper based on the analysis of the existing strategic supplier selection and supply chain risk and used a two-stage step for selection and evaluation of the strategic supplier.The main content of the two-stage is: in the first stage, competitiveness of supplier is evaluated in order to select strategic supplier which lower the core enterprise's costs quickly. This paper studied the strategic suppliers in the view of product competitiveness and inner competitiveness. In the second stage, the paper made a evaluation for strategic supplier selected in the last stage, and built a detailed risk assessment system in the view of supply chain risk.Then, this paper introduced the entropy of the multi-level fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to evaluate strategic supplier's two-stage .The two-stage evaluation index system is used in the indicator system and weight is decided by entropy weight. This paper used a simulation example shows that the entropy of the multi-level fuzzy can be used to select strategic suppliers.In the end, the content of this paper is concluded, and the deficiency and where needs improvements is pointed out.
