Study On The Forest Products Trade Of China And Russia Based On Three-dimensional Structure

China is an important country in the world at forest product's production, consumption, import and export, but in recent years, scarcity of forest resources and fast development of economy makes higher importing dependence on forest products. As the world's largest exporter of industrial logs, Russia is rich in forest resources. Sino-Russia geography advantage is obvious, and the trades between the two countries are frequently, which is always an important component of the world's forest products trade.Sino-Russia have the basis of further development in trade because of a long history in forest products trades between them, also have close cooperation in forestry industry in recent years, the communication of science and technology and the progressing investment construction have also prompted the bilateral trade structure upgrade, however, there are also many problems in Sino-Russia forest products trade, such as the small product scales, the single trade structure, the low level trade, the huge trade deficit, est. And the reasons for the problems are complex, which include factors of technology, industry and comparative advantage. Therefore, there is a need to do the research from the three dimensions of technology, industry and comparative advantage, and the rational proposal can be made after making a complete and systematic analysis of Sino-Russia forest products trade, which is also the realistic significance contained in this paper.The paper tries to make a deep research of Sino-Russia forest products trade systematically by setting a system of technical dimension, industry dimension and comparative advantage. By applying the related theories of international trade which contain the technical theory and industry theory, and combining with the traditional theory of comparative advantage and the new trade theory, the paper did the research from the three dimensions, in this framework, connecting with the relevant economic theory. The paper made a detailed analysis of each dimension, and next, selected an evaluation index system associated with the three dimensions and made a quantitative evaluation for the development of the Sino-Russia forest products trade, and combined with the actual situation of Sino-Russia forest products trade, pointing out some inspirations existing in trade, and put forward a three dimensional integrated analysis method and finally proposed the countermeasures for the trade in forest products to Russia from the technological advance perspectives, nurturing comparative advantage, trade diversification and industrial clustering.
