Research On The Capability Of Interfirm Network

Since 1990s, the theory of Core Competence (CC) has become a popular theory about going after Competitive Advantage in enterprises. Meanwhile the technological cooperation among enterprises cross borders is promoting network organization to grow up in Traditional Enterprise Theory. The complex relations exist between Network Organization (NO) and CC. And NO don't have effective Network Competence (NC) naturally. The multiplicity of cooperation, the diversity of resources and the dynamic of environment make NC complex. However, the development of NC is to be tapped field. If making it play role, forming Competitive Advantage, it is necessary to conduct in-depth research. But the literature on NC is scarce.In this paper, the methods of literature review and inductive and deductive reason were used to research connotation, features, constitute of NC. On this basis, a mathematical model of stereotypes was constructed. Then constituting system of NC and influencing factors were summarized and analyzed by means of scientific analysis system. Finally, according to theoretical analysis, the measures and roads to nurture networks, and to upgrade the NC were put.The main innovations of this paper include as follows:Based on the analysis of relevant academic research results, the concept of NC was distincted and research from the perspective of the overall network was conducted, elements using of system way were classified. Network model was constructed and analysis on constitute elements was conducted in detail. Then a mathematical model was constructed on the basis of summing up and expanding. From three levels of the macro, meso and micro factors, the correlation between various factors and NC was produced and analyzed.Based on the constructed theory, the training trails of NC and measures to enhance NC through combining evaluation of the results of the analysis were designed by virtue of life-cycle theory.As a new organizational competence, constituent elements and influencing factors of NC are complex and changeable. To effectively operating NC, further theoretical analysis and empirical analysis based on impractical are needed. Finally, it further showed the way for enhancing the competitive advantage.
