The Study On Operation Risk Of Commercial Bank In China

The operational risk of banking caused a wide concern in the whole world. According to a great number of accidents of operational risk constantly occurred in China's commercial banks as well as the loss resulting from them, it is the high time we did something to do research on operational risk and reinforce our management. This paper begins with the research of operational risk Management in some active banks in the developed countries to get the features n some active banks in the developed countries by selecting and analyzing the typical operational risk accidents. The author also introduces the experience of the active banks to make lessons .Then based on the classifying standard and research method of operational recommended by Basel Council, we analysis the statistics of operational risks aroused in our commercial banks. Thorough the research on the operational risks in our banks and the analysis about the practice of the banks in developed countries , the author proposes relative advice regarding organization structure, risk culture, innovation of our operational process, construction of the supervisory frame in order to control operational risk. Superficial theoretical analysis in this paper also need further study in my future work and practice.
