| Local production network and Technological learning are the two stirring research themes in contemporary mainstream economic geography. Xi'an economic and technological development zone (ETDZ) is one epitome of many development zones in center and western China. Research on the Technological Learning of Xi'an ETDZ and the relationship between them have important significance to improve the level of technological learning and creation and to keep regional economic sustainable developing, both in theoretically and in practically.Based on the summarize and discussion about related literature, the local production network as the main line, from the concepts of the local production network and the technological lerning ,this paper gives the research framework.Secondly, this article analyzes the technological learning in Xi'an ETDZ local production networks. The interactive technological learning mechanism has discussed in this paper which about the local production networks and the technological learning. Analysis the effects of the technological learning on the Xi'an ETDZ development and the innovation.In the last, analysis technological learning of Shaanxi Automobile Group Co., Ltd and the Northwest Institute for Non-ferrous Metals (Group) research. In the last, some suggestions are proposed for construction local production networks.The paper is divided into seven parts. As an introduction, Chapter 1 first presents the background, significance, research methods and innovation in the paper.In chapter 2, traces previous studies and give literature review on relational fields. The paper summarizes and explores the related theories such as global production network, local production network, and technological learning theory. Based on the literature review the dissertation brings forward the problems to be explored in the paper and its research ideas. In chapter 3, a theoretical analytic framework of this paper was proposed. Based on the chapter2 analyze the relationship between learning and summed up network and technology learning, local production networks and technology learning ,then summed up some effect aspects of the local production networks on the technology learning.The main characters of technological learning in Xi'an ETDZ were analyzed in chapter 4. This chapter firstly introduces Xi'an ETDZ's basic information and developing condition, next analyzes its developing stage and current economic status. Then discovered: the level of Xi'an ETDZ's local production network is very low, but it has large developing potential; technology learning ability need to improve; the local government as a poor role in promoting the enterprises technology learning.Chapter 5, introduct the basic information of Shaanxi Automobile Group Co., Ltd and the Northwest Institute for Non-ferrous Metals research.Next the technology learning in their production networks were analyzed and discussed. Shaanxi Automobile Group Co., Ltd has great potential in heavy-duty automobile producing market. To heavy-duty automobile industry cluster is in initial stage. In this stage, a lot of thing must to do. The new material production network is in a low-level stage. The paper gives some advices to develop the new material industy.Chapter 6 provides some advices to construct local production network form the point of view about the enterprises and the governments.Chapter7, some faults were pointed and further study programs were suggested in this study. This part concluded the main findings of the paper, and then pointed out the orientation and suggested some programs which should be studied deeply in the future. |
