Thermo-electricity project is a efficient energy production methods. Compared with the traditional energy production methods, this method Can significantly improve fuel efficiency, and it is well-known for energy conservation, improving the environment and enhancing the function of urban infrastructure with good economic and social benefits. It has been given serious attention by all countries in the world. Since 1997, China also introduced a number of policies and regulations to consolidate it's position as a key areas and key projects. With the incentive of a series of policies,China's Thermo-electricity developed faster, many large-scale projects begin to start.Thermo-electricity projects are characterized by large-scale projects, the long construction period, technical complexity and involving multi-unit. And Thermo-electricity projects are more dangerous than other construction projects. Once the risk of accidents occurred it always causing great damage. Once the risk of accidents occurred, causing great damage, such as extending the time limit, increasing the cost of the project or plan changing. That makes it difficult to guarantee the stability of the project.All the above will lead to the decline of economic benefits, and may bring about hidden dangers to production safety and economic production Therefore, Master of Thermo-electricity projects must pay more attention to risk management, strengthen risk management awareness and accelerate the improvement of risk management mechanism.First of all, the article introduced the concept of risks and risk management, and then the process of project risk management and the method of risk management in all stages of project. Second, This paper combines with the modern risk management theory to a typicalthermo-electricity enterprise-HongCheng thermo-electric plant of China HongCheng Corporation and uses the theory and methods of the project risk management to analyze the risk management of the HongCheng thermo-electric project, and summarizes the risk identify, evaluating, analyze and establish the risk management measures of the HongCheng thermo-electric project. I hope this paper will provide some help for companies that will take thermo-electricity projects.
