Research On Entrepreneurial Environment Of Opportunity-driven Entrepreneurship And Policies

Opportunity-driven entrepreneurship is a positive factor for economic growth, and the concern on it is constantly increased all over the world. The systematic research on the general law of opportunity-driven entrepreneurship is benefit for the entrepreneurship theory and its practice.This paper takes opportunity-driven entrepreneurship as the research object, which firstly reviews the entrepreneurial environment theory at home and abroad, explains the origin of the opportunity-driven entrepreneurship, definition and its basic characteristics. Then the paper evaluates opportunity-driven entrepreneurial environment based on the 220 questionnaire data and Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) 15 dimensions of environmental conditions. Next it concludes that :the weak financial support system, the narrow coverage of government policies, short of the government support on projects, the weak scientific and technological achievements divert ability , lack of entrepreneurial capability, weak entrepreneurship education and training ability, low market transparency, and weak consciousness of property rights protection. All that factors are the weakness of entrepreneurial environment. Finally, countermeasures and proposals were put forward to provide reference for domestic-based entrepreneurs as well as government departments.
