Research On Entrepreneurship Opportunity Of Opportunity-orientated Entrepreneurship Based On Classic Entrepreneurial Model

Opportunity-orientated entrepreneurship plays an outstanding role in increasing employment and promoting economic growth. And entrepreneurial opportunity is the core of entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurial opportunities are evaluated at each stage of the dynamic process of the identifying and selecting.Based on the classical entrepreneurial theories, this paper explores the opportunity-orientated entrepreneurship further, and carries out a comparative research on important factors of evaluating opportunities between different regions. First, the classical models of entrepreneurship are summed up and the concept of opportunity-orientated entrepreneurship is defined. Second, to construct the research foundation, this paper, from the process point of view, researches the theories about entrepreneurial opportunities, analyses the relationship between identifying and evaluating opportunities. Finally, the paper designs the questionnaire based on Timmons opportunity evaluation framework, and carries out a comparative research on evaluating opportunities by 99 opportunity-orientated entrepreneurs in Hefei, Shenzhen and Anqing. The paper validates the applicability of the classical model in Chinese new ventures. And from some aspects, it also reflects the problems of macroscopical and regional entrepreneurial environment.
