The Application Of JOSS In BST

In this discourse,JOSS,the manufacturing system of Bombardier Sifang(Qingdao) is used as a background.The application status of JOSS is expounded,and JOSS features in different departments are analyzed as well.The shortcomings of JOSS are discussed and the solutions are suggested.In this discourse,descriptive study is used.In Bombardier Sifang Qingdao,the use JOSS is successful.JOSS in this discourse,with its comprehensive explanation,can be referenced in the MRP/ERP implementation of the railway manufacturing industry Company.JOSS is a propriety system instead of a commercial one.Also it was developed very long time ago.So it's not a surprise that it has shortcomings.In this discourse the shortcomings are also analyzed and solutions are suggested.So it could be valuable for BST to improve JOSS.
