Since 1990s, virtual reality technique has been one of the hot spots in IT field of research, development and application.It has real-time represented ability of three– dimensional space, human-computer interaction operation environment, as well as bring the feel being personally on the scene, which changes the boring, stiff and passive conditions between people and computer previously, it provided the world with great convenience for the human exploration and research of macro-and micro-world. Virtual reality technology has developed very rapidly which has been widely used in many areas, however, it seldom applies in education and teaching in ordinary schools. Because virtual reality technology can make up the inadequacy of traditional teaching, so it has broadly applied prospects in teaching.Based on the analysis of the development of virtual reality technology at domestic and abroad and applied condition in teaching field, combined with the actual needs of tourism teaching, set up a virtual Training systems of tour teaching, achieve a very good effect of interactive roaming, and reach the initial purposes of tour teaching. We did the three main areas of work to realize the system: First of all, after a comparison, select a powerful modeling software 3DS MAX to do the three- dimensional modeling for tour sights; then, the use of virtual software platform Super3D Editor realize the function of real-time simulation and interactive roaming; Finally, under the delphi development environment, the use of Super3D Object components provided by virtual software platform Super3D Editor for rapid development, to expand a number of functions, making it applies to the tour teaching. This paper mainly introduces the general process of how to build the model of the three-dimensional scene, emphases on the optimal technology of how to build the architecture model, as well as how to correctly deal with texture mapping. Because of the virtual software platform Super3D Editor is based on the OpenSceneGraph rendering engine developed, I research the OSG rendering process, and do an in-depth explore on key technologies which exist in rendering process, such as virtual roaming technology, Collision Detection, scene optimal techniques, to achieve the high-quality interactive roaming.
