Virtual reality technology was occurred in the last century.50s and 60s.but in the following decades this technology had not been well developed.until 2014.Facebook acquired virtual reality enterprise Oculus,virtual reality was becoming the focus of attention.During the past two years,under the background of "mass entrepreneurship,and innovation”in the domestic,virtual reality has become the hottest area of entrepreneurship.Especially in 2016,as the "first year of virtual reality",based on the accumulation of technology,personnel,marketing,virtual reality has been shown signs of the outbreak.In the future,both VR technology and VR+ application are worth expecting.From the internet to the mobile internet to the virtual reality.to the internet of things in the future,every wave of development of information technology requires the power of capital,venture capital is one.of the very important factor.However,in the face of emerging start-ups,there are some limitations of the traditional valuation models,so.how to give the reasonable valuations to the virtual reality venture is one issue for start-ups and venture capital.On the one hand,the products and services,which the existing representatives of the virtual reality industry chain enterprises provided.has been combed in this paper,and based on the financing situation of capital market and development in virtual reality,find the current investment focus mainly lying in the offline store,VR content creation and industry applications.On the other hand,innovative make the two dimensions of science and art of the products and services that the enterprises provided as a measure of the enterprise's core competitiveness.On the basis of this synthesis:a.the market capitalization of the leading enterprises that have been publicly traded in the industry;b.the total valuation of the industry leaders that are not listed but have been merged;c.the listing possibility of the venture in the given period;d.the additional valuation that the risk capital provide to the enterprise;e.the requirement of the investment return for the portfolios of risk capital;f.the internal and external debt(including employee options)of the venture,propose a valuation formula for the virtual reality venture,through actual cases validate the effective of the formula.The contents of this article are as follows:the first chapter.explaining the background and significance,methods and structure,and literature review of the paper;chapter two.introducing the study theory of the industry chain analysis.business valuation and investment valuation;the third chapter.introducing the virtual reality industry.the main products and services that the existing representatives of the virtual reality industry chain enterprises provided,the financing situation of virtual reality business at home and abroad,from a venture capital perspective to analyze the development of virtual reality;the fourth chapter,considering the features of virtual reality business,concluding a new valuation methods on enterprise framework,and verifying the validity of the formula by a practical case;the fifth chapter,summarizing the research results and outlook.
