Long lake scenic spot is one of eight great scenic spots of Yun Nan Stone Forest World Geology Park (State-level key scenic spots, World Natural Heritage, National 5 A-class tourist destinations). It located on southeast of Stone Forest World Geology Park, 30 km off the main scenic spot Big and Small Stone Forest. Long Lake is a karst lake formed by geology rupture, and the name of long lake derived from its Strip-shape. And it's famous for widen beautiful plateau lake scenery, rich field interesting forest scenery, typical karst stone (stone bud) landscape and the folk-custom of SaNi nationality. The planning area is 1816400㎡.Based on the analysis of long lake scenic spot status and process in the field of domestic and international research, this article discuss how to use the lake-dominant scenic spot research theory and whether the utilizing of research theory can instruct and guideline the theory development of planning field. Under the guidance of theory of biodiversity, ecological theory, theory of landscape architecture, etc., entirely throughout the principle of public participation which can meet the needs of users to construct a CPSR planning model of "Natural conditions, Human pressure, Ecological state, Social response" four Levels, and "Analysis - Evaluation - Planning" three steps. And use this model to perform a specific case practice for long Lake Scenic Spot planning, breaking the model of one-time performance the programming theory and layout method on the drawing, achieving the goal of using quantitative assessment to realize ecological planning, and creating a different way from similar scenic spot. Specific research results are as follows:1. Analyze the geographical profile of the Stone Forest Scenic Area and Long Lake Scenic Area, not only survey the geological features, climate, soil, socio-economic, vegetation and other natural geographic profile of entire Stone Forest Scenic Area, but also learn more about the unique geographical situation and the development status of the Long Lake Scenic Area in Stone Forest Scenic Spots.2. Through the literature reorganization and the comparative analysis, have understood the research status of domestic and international lake-dominant scenic spot planning. So the study direction and focus of this article is to add quantitative assessment during planning based on the past planning research of lake-dominant scenic spot, thus to add the science and rationality of planning research.3. Under the sufficient theory preparation, long lake scenic spot has been identified for leisure ecological lake-dominant scenic area. Therefore, under the theory of biodiversity, ecological theory, theory of landscape architecture, etc., combining with the characteristics of Long Lake Scenic Area, CPSR planning model has been constructed, through " Natural conditions, Human pressure, Ecological state, and Social response" four levels, "Analysis - Evaluation - Planning" three steps to completely realize the planning and designing study of long Lake Scenic Area.4. According to the step of CPSR planning model, specific analyze the status of planning object from natural conditions, human pressure and ecological state these three levels. In the second step of the planning model, the idea of public participation has been passed through the whole stage. At first, POE method has been used to evaluate the satisfaction of tourists. Results are as follow: The satisfaction degree of tourists to the natural vegetation, the lake water body and the landscape architecture is higher than to the road, the square, the architecture and the national culture reflection. And the satisfaction degree of tourists to the sanitation facility, the indicator, and the swing is higher than to the mark, the rest chair and the soft service. At the same time, the demands of ecology leisure and national characteristics have reflected. Then SD method has been carried on to evaluate the preference for landscape need according to the path, the terrain, the architecture, the water body, the sketch, the plant six scenic resources classification. The result is everybody prefers to picture which has good ecology effect, integrity, space, vital and good surrounding environment integration. According to the results of evaluation, the users'need and preference for function and landscape can be fully understood. In the third step of planning model, i.e. planning step, using research results of first two steps, and transfer text information, data information into the appropriate planning language, and using the concept of"in natural ecological scenery, present landscape and minority-custom."to divide long lake scenery area into three function district, they are: eco-protected district, ecological tourism district and district of leisure and entertainment.5. Based on the overall function divide, these special planning including landscape district planning, transport planning, architecture planning, water landscape planning, plant landscape planning, pieces facilities planning, landscape spot planning, tourist capacity planning, have been done for Long Lake Scenic Area.6. After the end of planning, the program will bring all kinds of feedback to environmental, social and economic, in other words, the society response level of CPSR planning model has realized. The operational and guiding significance of CPSR planning model in programming study procedure has been verified by such a complete programming case of long Lake Scenic Area. At the same time, for the issues that appeared in research procedure, also hoping to be perfected and resolved in the future planning and designing study.
