Research On The Environmental Effects Of FDI In China's Electronic Information Industry

Electronic information industry is a pillar industry of China's national economy, which plays an important role in economic development. However, there are hidden and serious environmental problems in the production process of the electronic information industry. It is necessary to attach importance to environmental issues in China's electronic information industry. At the same time, China's electronic information industry is also the important industry of our country that attracts foreign direct investment. FDI is closely related to the environmental issues of China's electronic information industry. Therefore, it is necessary to study environmental effects of FDI in our country's electronic information industry.On the application of Environmental economics, industrial economics and international economic theory, this paper describes the environmental pollution of electronic information industry and the status quo, dynamics, market share of FDI inflow in china's electronic information industry. On this basis, through the introduction of a new variable we build regression models to study the environmental effects of FDI in our country's electronic information industry. Research results show that of FDI in China's electronic information industry has negative scale effect, positive technique effect and composition effect to the environment and the scale effect is greater than the technique effect and composition effect. Also, to select a typical case we confirm that FDI, in our country's electronic information industry, has negative impact on the environment. Finally, this article puts forward countermeasures and suggestions from the system execution of compensation for the use of environment, etc.
