Elevator market in China is the largest in the world now. Almost all of the worldwide famous companies and native companies have competed in highly intense. Customers requirement become more and more diversification and individuation. Elevator companies have to design and manufacture plenty of customize products with high quality to get advantage status in the market. Design and manufacture of non-standard product has become one of the most important competitive strategies for elevator supplier. T Elevator Company is the largest elevator company in the world. In this thesis, the investigate object is non-standard product design process optimization of T Elevator Company to meet quality target and customer satisfaction by ACE quality management and improvement method.Based on review of theories and methods of quality management and Lean produce, an ACE management system is constructed. It is closed to quality management and Lean produce. This thesis describes ACE basic theory, implementation characters and elements. Then functions and relations of each component are explained in detail, including fundamental, implementation steps, characters, effects and performance estimation. Methodology and application studies are performed in the thesis. In order to test available and performance of the ACE system, a non-standard product design process improvement system based on ACE is operated in T Elevator Company.Improvement on non-standard product design process of T Elevator Company through implementation of ACE system is confirmed. The methodology and system mentioned can be used for Elevator Company and others manufacture company in non-standard product design process.
