With the development of world economy, environment and natural resources are badly destroyed. Apart form this, economy globalization also leads to severer competition for the enterprises. The implementation of reverse logistics could save costs and protect the environment from being polluted. It can also improve the competitive ability for the company. This paper firstly studies the theoretical foundation of reverse logistics and explains the importance of reverse logistics for the enterprises. And then, points out two urgent problems for reverse logistics'implementation: the model selection and network construction. The next chapters are mainly dedicated to these two problems. In the chapter for mode selection, the paper firstly studies the factors affecting the mode selection. Also, it gives the compare and analysis for three typical modes. Based on the above work, this paper puts forward the evaluation target system for mode selection. Finally, reverse logistics operation mode selection is analyzed based on AHP and FAHP. Also, it gives examples to verify the validity and application. The author hopes to provide some useful references for reverse logistics mode selection of enterprises. In the chapter for network construction, the reverse logistics network design problem of self-employed and alliance mode is mainly studied. The paper proposes a model to maximize the profits in the self-employed mode and a mixed integer programming model of multi-enterprise's joint return for multi-products in the joint venture model. Compared with the model before, government action effects are taken into account in the first model and the objective is the maximization of profits. The second model solves the multi-products return problem and considered the restriction of ability of investment and facility scale. At the same time, the examples prove the validity of the model. The author hopes to provide some valuable suggestions for the enterprises to construct a reverse logistics network.
