From the aspects of the concept, origin and development of Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) and Business Process Reengineering (BPR). this paper elaborates the dialectical relationships between ERP and the BPR, and points out the trend of the combination of them. ERP, as a form of the management and operation pattern by using the modern information technology, is one kind of new management tools in using advanced information technology. BPR is one kind of advanced management thought, it takes the business process as the transformation object, carries on the reengineering of the existing business process, uses the advanced information technology as well as the modernized management methods to realize technology function integration and the management function integration, establishes the brand-new organizational structure. Thus the enterprise manages can be improved in the aspect of cost, quality, service and speed. The paper makes the preliminary study of the application of BPR and ERP, and has come to the conclusion that BPR and ERP combination is the inevitable product of the enterprise's improvement management.By utilizing the method of the combination of theory and practice, taking S Corporation as the background, the paper analyzes S Corporation ERP system the function module, and finds the question of the enterprise in the implement the ERP system from the enterprise ERP system implementation question and the demand. According to the former experience of ERP implement, we knew that if the enterprise obtains the actual effect in the ERP implements, the business process reengineering must be carried on in order to adapt the ERP system request. This is precisely the essential condition that the ERP application obtains success, and also it is the key points of our ERP implementation plan research.The paper focuses on the contradiction between the business process and the ERP implementation of S corporate, and analyses its primary business process separately, such as the marketing, the purchase, the productive plan and the stock management, the payment process, and proposes the BPR solution. Business process optimization can be implemented through BPR. It explains the implementation effect that S Corporation carries on BPR in the ERP system by the appraisal index. The paper makes the theoretical and systematical elaboration on the application of BPR in the ERP, and it makes the beneficial exploration for ERP project implementation.
