Electric power industry is one of the most important bases of the national economy; it is also the capital & technology intensified industry. It is of effective network system, and it is the key part of public utility. Although great changes have taken place since the reform and opening up to the outside world, there are still lots of problems that hinder the company's further delopment.With the deepening constantly of electric power system reform of our country, the power enterprises have been introduced to the market, begin to face the competition, the marketing becomes a brand-new subject that the electricity power enterprise faces. The Yangtze River Power Company regard as the largest domestic hydroelectric listed company unavoidable was faced with this subject. This paper has explained at first the necessity and importance of the studies of the marketing tactics of China Yangtze Power Co., Ltd. then made detailed analysis in course to the Chinese power industry and development of the electric power system reform, expound the facts and analyze the Yangtze River Power Company strategic competitive environment from a lot of levels, combine the analysis on electric power market and prediction finally, with the actual conditions of the China Yangtze Power Co., Ltd. have put forward the marketing management countermeasure that the company should adopt systematically. Hope to find out a way of innovation for the development of the company.
