"Workaholic" is used as a word to modified someone indulge in work, and phenomenon of "workaholism" can be seen frequently in work area today, because in most of the organizations people encourage this behavior and they believe that this pattern of behavior can be efficient for organization. However, it can also bring many negative outcomes, such as affects of physical and psychological health, community relationship and family of employees. For this, many scholars carry on researches on this subject, related to its definition, antecedents and outcomes.On this paper, the workaholism scale WorkBAT-R was translated into Chinese, and also its reliability and validity was testified. But the result reflects that the Chinese version of WorkBAT-R is a 3 dimensions construct, which is different from the original version. On the second part of this paper, an assumed model of the relationship between workaholism and contextual performance was testified. Some parts of this model were confirmed through empirical research. On summary, workaholism has a positive relationship with contextual performance.
