Research On The Role Of Local Government On Sino-Korea Economic Cooperation

At present, regional economic cooperation is one of the most significant characteristics of the world's economic development. With the closer economic relations in Northeast Asia, the inter-dependence between countries in the region is evidently enhanced, the attracting Northeast Asia economic and trade cooperation will further strengthen the regional economic development, and the economic relation of Sino-Korea plays an important role in regional economic cooperation. Since China and Korea built up the diplomatic relation in August, 1992, Sino-Korea economic and trade cooperation has been developed in a new stage of bilateral cooperation. Especially since 2003, China and Korea have established bilateral cooperation partnership, and economic and trade cooperation is developing rapidly. Besides, complementary trade structure between Korea and China and the close connections between China and Korea in the fields of geology, history and culture have formed a good base for the development of Sino-Korea economic cooperation.With the increasing exchange between China and Korea in all respects, there is already a lot of research on the Sino-Korea Economic Cooperation. Many scholars have made some effective researches on this project. And the government, scientific research institution, and academic association have also taken many lectures and seminars. In order to deepen the Sino-Korea communication, we should carry out more extensive research on the role of local government. Although it plays an important role in the Sino-Korea Economic Cooperation, there is little research that has been done from the view of the local government. And most researches focus on the governing role of the central government. We have realized the important part of local government on the Sino-Korea Economic Cooperation and try to give some suggeations on how to strengthen the effects of local government.This thesis is mainly divided into five parts:Part 1 mainly introduces the purpose and the significance of the research; at the same time, we introduce the status quo of literature review at home and abroad.Part 2 introduce the status quo of Sino-Korea economic cooperation. We analyze the beneficial factors to promote Sino-Korea economic relations.Part 3 analyzes the important role of local government on the Sino-Korea economic cooperation. And we also analyze the problems existing in Sino-Korea economic cooperation.Part 4 compares the limits of Sino-Korea local authority on economic Cooperation.Part 5 gives some suggestions on how to strengthen the effects of local government in Sino-Korea economic cooperation.
