Analysis Of Economic And Trade Cooperation Between Russia And South Korea Under The Northeast Asian Security Framework

In 1992 the first state visit of Russian President Yeltsin around Asian after independence is South Korea.In Seoul with then President Roh Tae-Woo signed Treaty of Basic Relations between Russia and South Korea.This treaty laid the foundation of the relations between the two countries.After that moment within several decades Economic and trade cooperation has achieved great progress.Now they become important trade partner to each other.The paper introduce the trade history,dividing several decades into three historical phases,and introduces the characters of each phases,referring to Imports and exports,total trade volume,and analyze the historical process as a whole.The paper is specific to fields of economy and trade cooperation,including Oil and gas field,railway transportation,fisheries development,aviation and aerospace,arms trade.Second chapter mainly analyzes cooperation outcome.And on this basis the paper sum upits features and defects.At the end of the article,it discusses the opportunities and challenges in economic and trade cooperation between Russia and South Korea.
