In recent years, energy shortage has gradually become the bottleneck of our country's economic development. How to solve the energy crisis and break through the bottleneck becomes the key issue of recent economic research. This dissertation aims at energy-intensive industry and tries to analyze its international transfer. After defining the energy-intensive industry, this dissertation detailedly analyzes the status and motivation of energy-intensive industry's international transfer and then puts forward the motivation of energy-intensive industry's international transfer by macro and micro analysis of this industry.Furthermore, this dissertation analyzes the four elements of energy-intensive industry's international transfer, which are market demand, knowledge transfer, multinational company and government control. And by combining the related theories with just mentioned analysis, this dissertation establishes a mechanism model of energy-intensive industry's international transfer. This model dynamically depicts the whole process of energy-intensive industry's international transfer and emphasizes the roles of the four elements: market demand pulls the transfer, knowledge transfer pushes the transfer, multinational company carries the transfer and government control controls the transfer. Next this dissertation does the empirical research of the transfer mechanism model. The results are that market demand and knowledge transfer greatly affect energy-intensive industry's international transfer, market demand is the Granger cause of the transfer and knowledge transfer and energy-intensive industry's transfer are mutually Granger cause of each other. At last, this dissertation puts forward some suggestions on the base of former study, such as accelerating the establishment of energy-intensive industry's information and data base, and some advices of how to let Chinese energy-intensive industry transfer abroad smoothly.
