Social capital is an important concept after physical capital and human capital which rose in the 1970s, it gets long-term development in the field of sociology and then extends in the fields of economics and management gradually. Social capital has become an important issue in the area of enterprise development since the 1990s, and it's considered to be a key way to create wealth and aquire competitive advantage.Firstly, this article summarises relevant theory and literature of social capital and entrepreneurial performance, analyzes the relationship between social capital and entrepreneurial performance on the basis of social capital's three dimensions. Recent years a considerable amount of researches focus on the positive relationship between social capital and corporate performance. However, researches on the relationship of social capital and entrepreneurial performance are still relatively fragmented which only pay attention to the vector of social capital——social network, neglect other aspects of social capital.Secondly, it analyzes the direct and indirect effects of social capital to entrepreneurial performance, and then puts forwand the concept model. The model puts organizational learning as an intermediary variable between social capital and entrepreneurial performance, systematic analyzes the impact of three dimensions of social capital on two dimensions of entrepreneurial performance. It proposes research assumptions after theis analysis and model building.Thirdly, the empirical research is about the influence process of social capital to entrepreneurial performance. It applys SPSS13.0 for reliability analysis, One-way ANOVA Analysis, Bivariate Correlations and Linear Regression, applys LISREL8.7 for Confirmatory Factor Analysis and Structural Equation Model to examine the validity of scales , test assumptions and modify concept model. Data analysis shows that (1)measurement scales have good reliability and validity, (2)social capital, organizational learning and entrepreneurial performance are significant positive correlative, (3)organizational learning plays a role as an intermediary variable between social capital and entrepreneurial performance, (4)there are some positive influence exzamined in this article which contain structural and cognitive social capital to survival performance, relational and cognitive social capital to growth performance, three dimensions of social capital to organizational learning, organizational learning to growth performance and survival performance to growh performance.Finally, it analyzes the empirical results, provides some suggestions for managers. Enterprises should pay close attention to social capital and promote organizational learning in order to reach a higher level of development.
