China's Outward FDI: Development Stage, Economic Impacts And Strategic Thinking

Nowadays, as the development of the globalization and regional economy groups,the trend of capital internationalization has become stronger day by day and a new round of transnational investment is going to make a profound effect on the whole world's economy. Therefore it will become an importment part of every nation's strategy to encourage both home enterprises'investment externally and attract foreign investment domestically. On this background, it is of great importance for us to study and evaluate the effect of foreign investment because it can point out the future orientation and guiding principle clearly and it can also support the establishment of the policy and law directly.This dissertation gives a brief review of FDI theory of multinational corporations and developing countries. It explores the necessity of developing China's FDI from the international economic environment , domestic macroeconomic form and the development of Chinese enterprises. The dissertation analyses the stage and features of China's FDI. It phases the development stage and trends of China's FDI with Dunning's investment development theory .It inspects the China's economic impact, export impact , adjustment of the industrial and employment impact through statistical tools . It finds out that China's FDI has relationship with the variables above. Finally based on empirical research , the dissertation puts forward strategic objectives of China's FDI , and proposals from the transformation of main body, control system, industry choice, location selection, as well as the entry of foreign direct investment strategies and financing measures.
