| China is a big country for the production and international trade of oil crops. Since 1990s, soybean, peanut and rape, the three main oil crops, have a great opportunity for development. However, they are also facing heavy pressures from international market.In the past, our oil crops won a market share with their cost advantage in the international market. In recent years, the price advantage is weakened little by little with the increase of cost. Besides, the quality of the oil crops is low for the extensive management.Based on the collection of abundant data and materials, the dissertation measures and analyzes the change of the competitiveness of the three oil crops, and tries to find out the dominating factor influencing the change of the competitivenessThe dissertation consists of six chapters.The first chapter is the preface, in which the research question is brought forward, the aim and meaning of the research are introduced, and the framework of the dissertation is built.Theories of economics and management firmly related to the issue of Competitiveness are reviewed in the second chapter , and a detailed review and summary to the current empirical studies of competitiveness of agricultural products are given in this part.The key part of the dissertation is the fourth and fifth chapters. At the beginning of the fourth chapter , an index system is built to judge the competitiveness of the three oil crops. And according to the index system, the competitiveness of the three oil crops is measured and analyzed.The core of agricultural products competition is the Customer Value embodied in the certain agricultural products. Based on the definition function of Customer Value, the competitiveness of oil crops is divided into two relatively independent aspects: price competitiveness and non-price competitiveness. In the fifth chapter, the dynamic and static methods are presented to judge the dominating competitive factorsIn the sixth chapter, important conclusions are drawn and some policy advice is given accordingly. |
