Study Of Costs And Benefits Of Rapeseed Production In Jiangsu Province

Jiangsu is one of the main rapeseed production provinces, and it is one of the important production areas where the Ministry of Agriculture plans advantaged "double low" rape products. Rape after rice and wheat is the third largest crop in Jiangsu, and it plays an important role in the agricultural production. At present, a series of problems in the process of rapeseed production, such as planting at a small scale, decentralized production, low level of mechanization, high labor cost and so on, are not only lead to high comprehensive costs of rapeseed production, but also affect the net income of costs.The study shows that based on relevant theories of agricultural products, driving factors of costs and yields are analyzed by partial correlation analysis, and the result indicates the degree of partial correlation between driving factors of costs and yields in the process of Rapeseed production in Jiangsu. Based on partial correlation analysis, this paper adopts CD production function to design and test for rapeseed production function model of Jiangsu, and rapeseed production costs in Jiangsu and Henan are analyzed by the dual-variables interactive analysis. At the same time, analyzing the production costs and benefits of the main rapeseed planting areas in Jiangsu, the result shows the proportion of driving factors of costs in the process of rapeseed production and the current economic situation of rapeseed production in the sample counties and cities. According to this, the existing problems of cost control are found, and some suggestions about cost control of rapeseed production in Jiangsu and improving economic situation are put forward in order to improve the competitiveness of rapeseed production in Jiangsu.This paper shows that, one hand, due to being affected by rapeseed market prices, changes in the prices of agricultural production resouces, natural disasters, pests and diseases and ways of production and advances of production technology, there is a significant difference between all kinds of costs per unit area of rapeseed production in Jiangsu and all economic situation indices, and there is also a larger difference between different areas. On the other hand, the result through the analysis indicates that the net income rate of costs of rapeseed planting in Jiangsu is at the forefront of the country, and Jiangsu has strong competitive advantages, but there is still a gap comparing with Henan. The problems in the process of rapeseed production in Jiangsu are mainly summed up as selecting varieties to scientifically sow without actual situation, the high fertilizer costs, low level of mechanization, the high of labor costs and so on.Thus, in this paper, we conclude that in order to improve the level of Costs and benefits of rapeseed production in Jiangsu. First of all, the government supports rapeseed planting production, and takes measures for rapeseed production structure of many areas macroscopically. The government controls the sharp increase of price of agricultural production resources reasonably, and accelerates balance of supply and demand of the Rapeseed market and stability of the market price of Rapeseed.
