Distribution center is a bridge connecting providers and clients in the logistics networks. It plays an important role in the logistics system. Good location of the distribution centers has a pushing effect on the function of distribution centers and the improvement of economic benefits. So far a majority of location models in the field of study only take customer service objective into consideration from the standpoint of the decision-makers of logistics companies, besides, they ignore the environmental problems during the course of site selecting, and this can not meet new requirement of modern logistics. Based on analysis of distribution center's characteristics, this paper probes into the self-supporting distribution center's location problem which considers the cost, customer satisfaction as well as location green degree. The main contents of the paper are as follows:Firstly, the paper gives a detailed description of relative theories on distribution center's location problem, which includes the definition, function and classification of distribution centers, the influencing factors on the location, besides, it introduces some common methods used in solving the location problem.Secondly, subjection function of fuzzy due time and the emissions of noxious gas during the cargo transportation are applied to denote customer satisfaction and green degree of location respectively, on the basis of which, a location model of self-supporting distribution center with multi-objectives is developed.Thirdly, improved genetic algorithm of adaptive crossover probability is applied in this paper to solve the model. Finally, the model is applied to "real world" data. The result shows that the model has high practicality and effectiveness in solving distribution center's location problems.
