A Research On The Assessment Methodology For Design Alternatives Of Ship's General Arrangement

In this thesis, system engineering theory, fuzzy mathematics theory, AHP and ship's general arrangement design theory are used together to establish index system of general arrangement design evaluation. Evacuation, one important index of the system, is investigated comprehensively. And the mathematics model of multi-target fuzzy decision-making for the general arrangement scheme of ship is set up in this paper. Moreover, the method of determining weight coefficient is presented and the calculation example is also given.In allusion to the characteristics of general arrangement, this paper introduced a system engineering opinion of overall system integral optimization and life cycle time optimization. The principles are established to set up the index. And this thesis carried out the system analysis, assessment and synthesis for common used evaluation methods. According to different types of ships, based on the principle of "less as soon as possible and simple as soon as possible", this paper established two indices systems, which are used to passenger ship and naval vessel differently.To evaluate the evacuation of the passengers is through calculating the time of the evacuation. The model is founded by using macroscopical method. Schematisation of the escape routes can be looked as a hydraulic network, where the pipes are the corridors and stairways, the valves are the doors and restrictions in general, and the tanks are the public spaces. And the calculation example is given.Finally, using fuzzy mathematics theory, the mathematics model of multi-target fuzzy decision-making for the general arrangement scheme of ship is set up. And AHP is used to determine weight coefficient. The high speed passenger ship -"mikeluhemahelai" is an example to evaluate its general arrangement design. It is proved the evaluation provide reasonable and accurate results.
