With China's access of WTO and financial globalization, some foreign capital banks and national stock banks have attracted a great number of excellent financial talents from our four state-owned commercial banks by means of the advantages of its incentive mechanisms. The laggard incentive mechanisms of our state-owned commercial banks have become the neck of restricting its reform and development. Therefore, it is of realistic significance for state-owned commercial banks to construct a scientific, reasonable and efficient incentive mechanism.In the course of analyzing the incentive mechanism of Chongqing Construction Bank, this paper starts form the enterprise strategy, in conjunction with its present compensation mechanism, and designs a distinctive and efficient incentive mechanism. According to the different characteristics of the work and responsibilities, the compensation systems for operational staff, sales staff, ordinary administrative staff and executives are designed. Besides, the paper also analyses the methods which should pay great attention, in order to assure the effective implementation of Chongqing Constuction Bank' incentive mechanism.
