A Research And Application Of The Project Management System In Erzhong Group For The Foreign Trade Complete Equipment Project

The foreign trade complete equipment is defined in this thesis as a mechanical equipment manufacture project supplied for the foreign metallurgical engineering with large scale. The construction process for the foreign metallurgical engineering with large scale is a productive consumption process, which needs long time, large investment with complex internal structure and comprehensive external connection. Furthermore the foreign metallurgical engineering with large scale can be described as an interdisciplinary systematic engineering, as it is concerned in different nation and different background of politics and economy. As a result, the whole set of equipment project for foreign trade is different from the metallurgical complete equipment for domestic customer. The difficulty in project management for foreign trade complete equipment project is far beyond the ordinary metallurgical complete equipment project for domestic customers.The basic aim of this thesis is to study how to complete the contract of the whole set of equipment for foreign trade smoothly, there is no doubt that adopting the management of project is the best way to ensure the completion of the contract. The core of the management of the projects is to improve elastic strain energy and anti-risk capability for the project management system as much as possible on the basis of keeping the overall objectives of the project management unchangeable, which is to say, no matter what situation may be happened during the project operation, the final efficiency of the project management shall be remained. So it is better for us to catch and control the changes caused by any situation in time to ensure the whole project is always on the right way, because these changes may result in the changes of the final efficiency of the project management.It was pointed out by the writer the difference of the project management between China and western countries after the study of the actual situation for project management both at home and abroad. Meanwhile the writer found out the questions existed in the project management for the whole set of equipment, then the writer try to resolve these questions by studying the project management theory to search project management method which is suitable in Erzhong actual situation.It is decided by the uniqueness of the complete metallurgical equipments that the content and characteristics of the project management for the foreign trade complete equipment is quite different from the traditional project, with the connection of Erzhong actual situation for foreign trade complete equipment, the writer pointed out the need of establishing foreign trade complete equipment project management system especially for Erzhong.The study emphasis of this thesis is how to establish the project management system for foreign trade complete equipment project in Erzhong, which including the establishment of the management system frame, quality management system, the management system for progress & cost control, the application of analytic hierarchy process in the risk management. Secondly, take the Poland 2250 hot strip rolling mill as an example to illustrate how the project management system is used in the specific project and introduce the establishment process for the overall quality control system, the particular application of the cost-time prediction &control as well as the concrete execution of aggregate utility method for risk management.This thesis is established in the research and study for the project management system used in the project of the foreign trade complete equipment project. In order to realize the object of the successful project management, it needs to establish the project management system that is suitable for the foreign trade complete equipment to control the overall process in the field of quality, time, cost and risk. It has been confirmed by the application of the project management system in Poland 2250 project that the thesis possesses certain use value and the established foreign trade complete equipment project management system is reasonable and practicable.
