A Study On Wasteful Behavior And Consciousness Of Construction Waste

With recent decades, china is in the highly developing period of construction. And thousands of construction waste is produced in the construction. What's more, after the construction waste is produced, it was not disposed with reused and recycled technologies,so that lots of land was occupied by construction waste being buried; some of the construction waste was blended in municipal solid waste (MSW), therefore, it is difficult to deal with the kind of compound waste. It is significant to properly deal with construction waste in the aspect of economy,society and environment. In construction project,"people"is an important factor in construction management, and other factors can not substitute for it. Therefore, this paper starts with the behavior and consciousness of"person", finding the significant variances between different group in construction and proposing correspondent suggestion and strategies.This study is approximately divided into two main parts:the first part is the theoretical frame of measurement dimensions, and the second part is the analysis of variances in different groups. The aim of the first part is seeking the frame of measurement dimensions on the wasteful behavior and consciousness on construction site. The data collected through reading literacy and related information contains a lot of information about construction waste. Some of the information is used on the design of questionnaire, the other of the information is used on the design of the semi-structured interview. The questionnaire is on the basis of the semi-structured interview and literacy. This study uses sorts of study methods which are used mainly in the fields of psychology,management and society. Azjen's planned behavior theory is used as the theoretical frame of the questionnaire which is the core of the study and the basis of the subsequent study and analyses. The main seven dimensions of the measurement are attained by the exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), using the software of statistics SPSS12.0 and the software of structural equation modeling lisrel 8.8 processing the data. So the theoretical frame of measure is validated by the method called cross-validation via EFA and CFA .The aim of the second part is to use the measurement dimensions analyzing the variances on behavior and consciousnes- s of kinds of groups on the site. The data is processed by the software of SPSS12.0, using the analysis method called ANONA.The study is to propose some constructive advice on the wasteful behavior and consciousness through the analysis of the variances between kinds of groups, effective management is executed on site by referring to the constructive suggestion.
