The Research Of Development Of Software Industry Cluster In Dalian

Industry cluster is a special form of economical organization in the world recently, which can bring the effects of scale economy and scope economy through the cooperation and communication in the cluster, and meanwhile, can bring strong spillover effects which can lead a whole region even a country into quick development. Software industry cluster first appears in the developed countries, however, as the informatization spreads all over the world, it is already in the period of information and the information industry development has become the evaluation criteria of the comprehensive national power. Software industry, as the core and the soul of the information industry, is paid more and more attention to. Software Gardens are built over the world and become influential. Cluster is the effective way to improve the software industry develop through the practice of the software industry development of America as well as Japan. It is the efficient condition to improve the business environment of software industry and the determinant of regional competence and innovation.But the study of software industry cluster is rare in China, especially the study based on the special regions. A lot of studies only discuss about the surface phenomenon not the essence and occurrence mechanism of software industry. This paper is based on the existing researches domestic and overseas, especially, the software industry cluster studies, to discuss the internal motive force, the characteristics and the effects of software industry cluster, to consider the essence of software industry cluster through the aspect of supply chain, to analyze the forming mechanism by the view of cost, innovation, and informal communication, to summarize the features.Dalian in Liaoning Province is one of the 11 national software bases. Software industry in Dalian, as the regional mainstay industry and the rising industry, when compared with the other bases in China, is not the best one, when compared with the developed regions in the world, is far away behind. This thesis based on the essence and the forming mechanism theory of software industry discusses about the problems of the development of software industry in Dalian by the comparison of the five software industry cluster models and the 11 national software bases, and then summarizes the direction and the motivation and the pattern of software industry cluster development in Dalian. By the end of this paper, suggestions and measures for improvement would be proposed based on the study before.
