Study On The Sustainable Development Ability Of Shipping Enterprises

It makes great sense to study on the sustainable development and the evaluation of sustainable development ability of shipping enterprises. It can provide not only scientific basis for the managers of shipping enterprises to make rational decisions, but also references for the government to make relevant policies.The thesis begins with a deep description of the relevant theories about enterprises' sustainable development, founding the academic basis for the following research. Then the key factors on the shipping enterprises' sustainable development ability are analyzed, as well as the meaning of it. Based on above, the index system of shipping enterprises' sustainable development ability is erected. After analytic demonstration, strategies to cultivate and improve Chinese shipping enterprises' sustainable development ability are put forward.Fuzzy comprehensive judgment method is employed to compare sustainable development ability of different shipping enterprises. Gray relational entropy method, combining gray theory and entropy theory, is employed to analysis the dynamic trend of the sustainable development ability of single shipping enterprise.The result indicates that fuzzy comprehensive judgment method and gray relational entropy method both have good capability and reliability in the evaluation of shipping enterprises' sustainable development ability, and can be used to provide references for managers to make rational decisions.
