Research On Brilliance-auto Corporation Auto Parts Procurement

Auto parts procurement management is very important in the automobile manufacturing logistics management. Scientific procurement management can reduce the operating costs of vehicle production; assure the quality of product and service and bring huge profits. Although procurement management is very important, China's automobile industry parts procurement management still exist many problems to be solved and perfected. This paper deeply analyzed the existing problems in this area of auto parts procurement in Brilliance-auto corporation.From the actual conditions of procurement management of Brilliance-auto corporation, this paper summarized the concepts and features of procurement and procurement management and pointed out the contents and objectives of procurement management based on summing up the views of the current research of Brilliance-auto corporation. Secondly, to reflect the status and existing problems of the China's automobile manufacturing parts procurement management, this paper analyzed and compared the characteristics and advantages of Europe and the United States auto parts procurement management from auto parts procurement development models , procurement strategy development in the parts procurement system, cost control and vendor selection and other aspects. Finally, on the basis of the key parts in the auto parts procurement development models and parts procurement processes---parts procurement strategy, procurement information management, procurement inventory management, logistics transportation and procurement performance evaluation, this paper presented the recommendations and countermeasures to improve China's auto parts procurement management. There are still significant gaps between China and developed countries in automobile industry parts procurement management.From China's auto parts procurement case to general studies, this paper analyzed the existing problems and gaps in the parts procurement process, and recommended rationalization proposals to China's auto parts procurement management, thus this paper has great significance for improving parts procurement management in automotive manufacturing scientifically.
