Study On Logistics System Optimization Of Small And Medium-sized Chain Supermarket Based On Supply Chain

China is a country of many small and medium-sized enterprises. They have undergone considerable development and made great contribution to the healthy and rapid development of the national economy since the reform and opening-up policy started in China. As a new from of retailing business, after more than 10-year's development in China, the Chinese Chain Supermarket has become a new force of Chinese commercial industry. However, these supermarkets are generally small in scale, and the current situation is not going well, neither. There are also a lot of problems in management, such as the management people do not have overall understanding of the problems of enterprise logistics,cannot find the source problems and cannot think out the optimization of logistics system from the perspective of the supply chain. Instead, they pay great attention to the scale of stores and the profit having been made, neglecting the important role of the logistics cost in the very process.Faced with an increasingly open Chinese retail sector, foreign retail giants speed up their expansion into China. The Chinese retail enterprises will be in great danger in the short term if there is no rapid expansion in scales. Therefore, it is of primary necessity and significance to carry out research into the optimization of logistics system, which is tightly related to the core competitiveness of the retail chain enterprises.In the light of the latest research achievements at home and abroad, based on the analysis and description of Chinese small and medium-sized chain supermarket(SECS) logistics system, aiming for the application of modern logistics management theory and the optimization of the SECS logistics system technology, the present dissertation finds out that the problems mainly concentrate on the procurement management, inventory management and distribution systems, as well as the logistics management using the field research, document analysis and synthesis methods to analyze the problems of the chain logistics systems.This paper is intended to explore the implementation of the advanced supply chain management technology in SECS, especially those of "thousands of villages and town" market, in the hope that the idea of supply chain management plays an important role in the enterprises and promote the management level and the operation efficiency of SECS.
