Research On Enterprise Informationization Performance Evaluation

In recent years, enterprise informationization became more and more in-depth. However, with its rapid development, there has always been a pessimistic view that thinks IT is on the end in theoretical circles. "IT black hole", "IT abyss " and " IT Productivity Paradox" are common arguments. With the development of research, people have been understood that completely denying the role of IT is absolutely inadvisable and completely putting the hope on the IT is also undesirable. The success or failure of the enterprise informationization is not only the question of technology or funding, but also the problem of how matching enterprise business and enterprise strategy. Now, the concern is no longer the investment issue about hardware equipments and software systems. How to obtain the greatest Performance for improving the level of enterprise informationization and business management has become the core.In this context, this paper first analyses and researches the existing models and methods of evaluation and indicates the shortcomings of them. Then, on the basis of results from previous studies, the characteristics of enterprise informationization performance are researched. For the purpose of evaluating the current IT application and guiding the further construction of enterprise informationization, the author establishes the enterprise informationization performance integrated evaluation model and evaluation indicator system.In this paper, the first chapter introduces the background, significance and innovation, as well as the main content and research framework. The second chapter reviews the current research situation at home and abroad, and the Balanced Scorecard method is discussed in detail. Summing up the results of research of predecessors, the current lacks of research are indicated for further improvement. In the third chapter, basing on the analysis of the influencing factors of enterprise informationization and the role of its performance produced, the enterprise informationization performance integrated evaluation model is established combining the Balanced Scorecard principle. And the feasibility and effectiveness of this model is discussed. ChapterⅣconstructs the evaluation indicator system under the four dimensions of the model and gives the interpretation of various indicators and their typical examples. Then, the data collection methods and standardized method as well as the determination of weight are introduced in the actual process of evaluating the performance. ChapterⅤdiscusses the implementation system questions of "Who evaluation"," evaluating what," and "how to evaluate" in the enterprise informationization performance evaluation practice for establishing the effective the operational mechanism of evaluation. The effectiveness and the operational feasibility of established model are validated by an example of a certain enterprise group in ChapterⅥ. ChapterⅦsummarizes the main conclusions of the full text and briefly discusses the shortcomings of this paper as well as further research.It is the innovation of this paper that on the basis of analysis of the influencing factors of enterprise informationization and the role of its performance produced, the enterprise informationization performance integrated evaluation model is established. The model comprehensively considers the Balance, the causal link and the integration of evaluation so it is more suitable for the enterprise informationization performance evaluation than before. Then the corresponding indicator system and the weights of the various indicators are determined so as to the actual enterprise informationization performance evaluation.
