Zhu jia yu ancient village, which is the first famous Chinese historic cultural village in Shandong Province, is located in Zhangqiu city. Zhu jia yu ancient village has a long history, and it retains a unique pattern and landscape of ancient village integrally through the long Chinese history. It is a village with various traditional culture, such as architectural culture, folk religion culture and so on. Zhu jia yu ancient village embodies the architectural culture of mountainous area in north China, and it is greatly influenced by geomantic culture in environment choosing and construction arrangement. Zhu jia yu ancient village attaches much importance to education. Trails of folk religion can be seen everywhere in the village, such as temple of Guangong, temple of Kwan-yin and so on.In recent years, the conservation and exploitation of Zhu jia yu ancient village has made some achievements. In the meantime, there were also some problems during the process of tourism exploitation. As too much importance was attached to the exploitation of the village rather than to the conservation, the landscape of the ancient village was destroyed to a certain extent. However, the problems existing during the process of tourism exploitation counteract the sustainable development of the Zhu jia yu ancient village tourism.To guide the conservation of the Zhu jia yu ancient village, we should make sure that the conservation of the ancient village is primary, and make use of it in reason. Laws should also be enacted as soon as possible to conserve the ancient village and comprehensive planning should be instituted. We should deepen the level of the tourism exploitation and make good use of the culture connotation contained in Zhu jia yu ancient village's tourism resource. There are many historic sites and famous scenic spots around Zhu jia yu ancient village, so an integrative exploitation should be carried through. In the process of tourism exploitation, we should protect the aboriginals' benefit to accelerate the sustainable development of Zhu jia yu ancient village.
