We have already stepped into knowledge economy age. The market is becoming more and more open with an increasing need of knowledge workers. In this condition, making a best use of knowledge workers is significative and that improving knowledge workers' performance is an important way for the corporation to seek for the competitive advantage. Compared with traditional workers, knowledge workers pay more attention to psychological contract. Psychological contract is a relation between knowledge workers and organization, which is also an important factor having impact on kownledge workers' attitudes and behaviors and performance. Foreign scholars began to study psychological contract in 1960s. Then new theories have been put forward continuously and the system has been modified and perfect, but there is also a disagreement in conclusion. Moreover, the study on the impact that psychological contract to enterprise knowledge workers' performance under the background of Chinese culture has not been researched deeply.This paper, on the basis of analysis about psychological contract and staff performance, has established a theoretical model on the relation between the psychological contract and staff performance about enterprise knowledge worker. The pre-test questionnaire was developed on literature review, consultation of scholars and experts and knowledge worker interview. Then the pre-test questionnaire has been modified after it carried out in three cities with 108 effective samples received. Besides, a survey has been carried out in five different cities such as Jinan, Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou and Hainan. In this way, this paper pool 245 samples and further the study in data analyzing.The empirical study shows that the self-developed scale has a good reliability and validity. The findings also illustrates that psychological contract has a three-dimension structure and staff performance has a two-dimension structure and psychological contract has notable positive influence on knowledge worker's performance.
