Abstract/Summary:
With the reforming of the education system, decentralizing of power, expanding of size of schools, and rapid developing of socialism economy, all kinds of thoughts, values and moralities had greater impact on schools. Therefore, it has become more and more difficult for school to be normally operated. Facing to these kinds of new situations and problems, some schools took several actions to overcome them and had obtained good results. While the other side of the coin is quite opposite. We can attribute this phenomenon to many reasons but the key one is that difference schools have difference executive ability. For this reason, how to improve the executive ability of schools is fatal for them to survive in the furious competition.The most popular theory in modern enterprise-Executive Ability-was employed in this paper, so that it can be used in the school management to cultivate the executive force of schools. By this way, schools can gain continuous competition for their survival.In the first part of this paper, the reason to study executive ability and its meaning in both theory and practical aspects was stated. The definition of executive ability was also given. Secondly, the management system, executive system, executive team and culture of school were chosen as breakthroughs in researching the executive ability of school. Meanwhile, the current situation of theses four aspects were also be studied in this part. In order to form a complete system of this paper, the discussions about how to improve executive ability of school were made finally, based on the results of the research of these four aspects.
