With the rapid development of the globalizational economics and multinational corporations, the focus of competition between enterprises has concentrated on use and development of the human resourse.The human resourse has been the strategic strength that supports the development of enterprise, then compensation managent is playing the lead,support and transform role in the human resource management and it is very important for enterprise to attract ,stay and inspire the core talents. However, many enterprises in china have been continuing to use " wages+welfare",this traditional compensation system, which neglectes that different staff have different aspects and different level demands. This kind of relatively simple compensation system makes the staff feel that they have merely one kind of transaction relationship with their employers so that they lack the sense of organizational identity and the loyalty. So, this compensation system can't truly inspire the staff. Therefore, company need a new compensation system to substitute the traditional one, this compensation system bases on total rewards model.This thesis firstly studies the total rewards theory, then, analyses and reviews vicissitude,present situation and existent problems of enterprise compensation system in our country. On the basis of this, the thesis provides the important of establishing compensation system based on total rewards model and gives the detailed elaboration to total rewards model, then, proposes to design frame and principle of the compensation system based on total rewards model. On this foundation,this thesis preliminary design this compensation system.Although compensation system based on total rewards model has many merits and represents a tendency of compensation management, it has also its insufficiency. The end of this thesis point out some attarctive questions.In brief, this thesis puts forward a relatively preliminary compensation system based on total rewards model and hopes that can provide instruction to design a more perfect and more reasonable compensation system.
