Study On Improving The Enterprise Competitiveness Of Zhejiang "Small-Scale Giant" Enterprises Based On Technical Progress

With the reform and opening up of China, the small and medium scale enterprises of Zhejiang province develop quickly and play more and more important role in the development of Zhejinag economy. But, with the deeply development of market economy and the optimization of industrial structure, the small and medium scale enterprises of Zhejiang province start to reveal a weak basis and face more and more severe competitive pressure on resource, talent, technology and so on.Based on the advantage of specialized technology and characteristic product, Zhejiang "small-scale giant" enterprises show strong energy and strength. And they also lead the way in their own industries by high market share. Based on the feature and vantage of the "small-scale giant" enterprises, how a role of the technical progress plays in the improving of the enterprise competitiveness. The enterprises how to achieve continue, rapid and stable development via technical progress. How to strengthen the strength and competitiveness of the enterprise on the shortage of resource and the keen competition? It becomes a crucial problem attracting the attention of us.This dissertation studies the relationship between the technical progress and enterprise competitiveness on the basis of positive analysis of Zhejiang "small-scale giant" enterprises. Also it puts forward the proposal for improving the enterprise competitiveness.At present, there are many studies on technical progress and enterprise competitiveness respectively. But there are little studies on the relationship between the two. Especially, the studies on "small-scale giant" enterprises are much less. This dissertation studied on "small-scale giant", growing and technological enterprises how to improve the enterprise competitiveness and find out a new direction of the development via technical progress. It has a great meaning of initiation and practice.First, the study defines the concept of technical progress and enterprise competitiveness. Then a positive analysis plan is designed based on further analysis. It studies the intrinsic relationship between technical progress and enterprise competitiveness by questionnaire and statistical analysis. The results of the research are: There is significant relation between technical progress and enterprise competitiveness. The level of machinery and organization management, the quality of the workers all have significant influences on the enterprise competitiveness. According to the present practices, some proposal to improve the small and medium scale and "small-scale giant" enterprises' competitiveness is put forward subsequently.
